Lens, baby! What does it mean to be married to a photographer? I get play with cool stuff! Rachel got a new lens, a so-called lensbaby. It's a fixed aperture, manual focus lens. But manual focus in a very hands-on way. The lens body is of flexible material so you focus by placing your fingertips along the front edge of the lens and then you press inwards towards the camerabody (ie shortening or lengthening the lens length). Not only causes this the field of depth to be really narrow but gives unusual results because the flexibility allows you to move the focal point around in the photograph. Het is een lens met vast diafragma en manual focus. Maar manual focal in hele direkte manier. De lens is van flexibel materiaal gemaakt. Je focust door je vingertoppen rond het uiteinde van de lens te plaatsen en dan naar de camera toe te duwen (maw door de lens korter of langer te laten worden).
